Perform actions to earn points and reach one of our four rewards tiers:

Scholar, Magna, Summa and Laureate

Point values are hidden, but the more work required, the more points you’ll receive. For example, publishing an article is worth five times the points that you’ll receive for completing a peer review. Smaller actions like filling out your profile and scoring articles with SIQ will result in a lesser, but still substantial, amount of points.

The Best of the Best: Cureus Journal Series Laureates

While rewards progress towards Scholar, Magna and Summa tiers expires at the end of each window, your total progress towards reaching our hallowed Laureate tier never resets. You must publish at least one article as the submitting author to be eligible for Laureate status. Cureus Laureates are the best of the best and enjoy a full list of permanent benefits. (Rejected author-invited reviews may result in permanent loss of Laureate status.) You can view your current rewards status on your Cureus profile.

How Do I Reach a Rewards Tier?

Each calendar year is split into two six-month windows: January through June and July through December.
