Dr. Moatsum Alawida's educational journey culminated in the completion of his PhD degree in computer science/cybersecurity with a focus on cryptography from the School of Computer Sciences at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2020. Currently serving as an assistant professor of cybersecurity at Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Alawida has made significant contributions to academia and research. Dr. Alawida's research interests span a wide range of topics includipng chaotic systems, chaos-based applications, multimedia security, blockchain, cybersecurity, quantum-based cryptography, and cryptography. His expertise and dedication to advancing the field have been recognized through his consistent ranking among the top 2% of all scientists in the world for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
