Dr. Saskia de Klerk holds an extensive academic background with roles as a Senior Fellow at the Higher Education Academy (York, UK) and Discipline Lead for Marketing, International Business, and Tourism at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. She also serves as an Associate Professor at North-West University, South Africa, and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (Canberra). Dr. de Klerk is a topic editor and board member of Management Decision and reviews for several prestigious journals. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial and networking skills, regional entrepreneurial ecosystems, and sustainable practices, including circular economy strategies and bricolage.
