UNESCO Chair Lecturer in “Economic Systems and Human Rights."
Prof. Srikanta Patnaik earned his Bachelor of Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla (now VSSUT, Burla) in 1989, followed by an MBA from Sambalpur University in 1991, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, in 1999. He has over 30 years of academic experience, having served at institutions such as University College of Engineering, Burla, Fakir Mohan University, and SOA University.
Prof. Patnaik is the Founder, Chairman, and Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar. He also serves as the UNESCO CHAIR Lecturer of "Economic Systems & Human Rights" at the National University of La Plata, Argentina, and is a guest professor at Hunan University of Finance and Economics and Kunming University of Science and Technology, China. He has published over 100 research papers and authored/edited more than 100 books. He has supervised over 30 Ph.D. and 100 master's theses, with his students now holding senior positions at companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Additionally, Prof. Patnaik is Editor-in-Chief for several prestigious book series and journals. He has received numerous awards, including the MHRD Fellowship from the Government of India and the Best Paper Award from The Institute of Engineers (India).
