About
Dr. Magfura Pervin earned her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with Oceanology and Computer Programming from Vidyasagar University in 2019, following her M.Sc. from the University of Calcutta in 2012.
She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bangabasi Evening College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. With over six years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, her research focuses on Supply Chain Management, Smart Manufacturing Systems, Production Planning, Autonomation, Sustainable Production Planning, Inventory Control, Fuzzy Logic, Differential Equations, and Mechanics of Solids. Dr. Pervin has published 22 research articles in SCI, SCIE, and SCOPUS-indexed journals and has presented at 24 national and international conferences. Notably, her Ph.D. thesis was awarded third place in the Ph.D. award competition at the 7th International Conference on Logistics & Supply Chain Management in 2020. She has supervised one Ph.D. student and serves as a reviewer for 25 international journals.
