Dr. Linchong Huang is currently a professor and the Executive Vice Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, Sun Yat-Sen University. He earned his PhD in Disaster Prevention and Protection Engineering from Central South University in 2009. He is a member of the Working Group 19 of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-WG19) and a member of the Tunnel and Underground Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society. His innovative research focuses on constitutive models of rock-soil materials, multi-scale calculation theory of rock-soil and underground structure systems, and intelligent infrastructure diagnostics.
