Dr. R. K. Karsh furthered his academic pursuits with an M.Tech. degree in Control System from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, Bihar, India, followed by a Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, India.
Transitioning from academia to professional practice, Dr. Karsh began his career as a Junior Teaching-Cum-Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Ranchi (Patna Campus), Bihar. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar, Assam, India, where he has been serving since May 2013.
Dr. Karsh's esearch interests encompass a wide range of topics, including Dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition, Sign Language Recognition, Image hashing for image authentication, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and deep learning. Dr. Karsh's dedication to both academia and research underscores his commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field of engineering and technology.
